Student reviews

Our students' experiences are the best reflection of what we do every day. In this section, you will find real testimonials showing how they have experienced their learning journey, the progress they have made, and the confidence they have gained with the language. Their words speak for themselves and are the greatest guarantee of our commitment to quality education.

I recommend this school wholeheartedly. I had studied Spanish in five schools before this, in Spain and in Latin America, and my experiences had been very good, but Spanish in Cadiz sits head and shoulders above the rest. I spent a month at SIC in October and November, 2018 in order to prepare for the DELE exams.
The school is very well organised and the staff is very professional, yet friendly. The teachers have an impressive knowledge of how the language works and, more importantly, why it works that way. They can explain to you the reasons why a rule is as it is (not something that happens always in other schools).
They pushed me to help me reach my goals but, on the other hand, they also wanted to ensure that I had enough free time to enjoy life in Cadiz. It was very hard work, but very rewarding. I could not have expected more from the school and the teachers. When I next return to Spain, I will not be looking around for a new school. This is the one for me from now on.
If you happen to visit during the football season (and assuming you are interested in football!), be sure to go to a match. Cadiz CF is a great little club. The stadium has a good atmosphere and the fans are very friendly. One of the teachers, Carmen, is a big fan.

The experience was very positive.  My husband is 'post retirement' teaching in Madrid and my  objective was to learn some basic Spanish during a week residential course.    The course was tailored to meet my slow learning pace with a mix of individual sessions aimed at my level and group discussions. . Not only did it really help with the basic grammar but also gave me the opportunity to practice in the group.  I also have plenty of  helpful worksheets in a booklet to take away and work on which i am doing now and hope to return for a 'top up'!

This course was special in other ways too.  The shared accommodation set amongst the narrow streets of the centre of magnificent Cadiz with a glorious beach and sunsets a few steps away, even in November,   It was  enriching and fun to meet other students all ages and from all cultures, sharing the same appartment and to have the opportunity to mix with others socially.
