I spent a wonderful month in Cadiz with this Spanish school, which certainly gave me far more than I expected. The staff and teachers are very competent, friendly and lovely people who will make you feel like at home. Their professional approach is suited to all levels. Coming to classes didn’t feel like coming to a classroom in normal school as classes were very relaxed and because of the small number of students you’ll always get attention. Topics for conversations were always interesting, I was never bored. Even though it felt like I’m not really making effort, I’ve learned a lot and I feel much more confident now speaking Spanish. If you are looking for a good value, S.I.C. is time and money well spent.
There are a lot of interesting things to do in Cadiz like flamenco dancing, salsa nights, concerts, lots of tapas bars, nightclubs and interesting museums, tennis, not even mentioning beautiful, long beaches, where you can learn how to surf or practice stand up paddle.
The residence for students is located in the charming, old part of the city, which with its narrow streets, lack of traffic and beautiful architecture has a unique feel. Unlike other beach resorts Cadiz isn’t overloaded with tourists what gives it an authentic atmosphere.
I came to Cadiz with intention of making excursions every weekend but very soon I gave up all my plans to just enjoy every moment of the relaxing life at the beach or learning surfing in the Atlantic. After spending one month in this magic place, surrounded by lovely people it was very hard to get back to reality. I can’t wait to come back and live through the same experience again.

I have now studied a few times at SIC for a week at a time and my experiences have been really super. First, as a language teacher myself I can attest to the very high quality of the teaching. For example, some of the grammar teaching i have had is second to none; the teachers really know what they are talking about. Secondly, it is a small, friendly school, where after a very short time indeed, you feel part of a little family. As such, conversation classes are always interesting and natural-feeling, as if you are talking to friends. Last, the school is right next to a beautiful beach and surrounded by lots of restaurants and bars. I can't recommend this school enough. I'll be going back there again as soon as I possibly can!
