Cadiz for a Gap year student

Cadiz is a fantastic location to learn Spanish on your Gap Year. Our Spanish school in Cadiz offers you a complete package of courses, accommodation and activities.

Doing a Gap year in Spain will give you the opportunity of becoming fluent in Spanish and experience life in Cadiz, living you a valuable asset.

Many universities consider a gap year abroad as good experience, especially for modern languages or international studies students. Universities take into account a period of time abroad in the selection process and a gap year abroad facilitates university entry.

Our gap year program

We have two Gap Year Programs:

GAP year Intensive for all Ages

The course takes place in our Cervantes Accredited Center in an intensive environment with other foreign students. Classes take place Monday through Friday from 9:45-13:30 - the student will be living in our residence (single room).

• Period: September to June. This program starts in the 1st week of September and ends in the 1st week of June.
• Period: January to June.  This program starts in the 2nd week of January and ends in the second week of June.

GAP Year High School Program

The student will be placed in a local high school (ages 15-18 1/2 years old on arrival. The students will be living with a host family on a full-board bases.

Three Options:

• Semester: January  to June 25th. 
• Academic Year Private High School: September to June.
