The school: small and structured establishment located literally 20 steps away from the beach. Well organised, in term of courses and extra-curricular activities. The teaching system is very structured and at the same time paying details to each students' needs. The ambiance is very amicable but without loosing its main target: to get you mastering spanish well. It's an Instituto Cervantes credited school, and when I come back registering in Instituo Cervantes Lyon to continue learning spanish, I climb 2 levels directly only by one week learning in SIC.The city: one of the best cities I've stayed so far (am 35 and have been quite travelling around :)). The people are friendly and helpful. And the fact that they don't switch to english when you start speaking spanish like a 5 year old is encouraging to practice everywhere. The food is incredible, not once I ate non-delicious food and....very cheap! The city is literally a city surrounded by beach - but not like other cities surrounded by beach, it is very well maintained, no pollution, and it is a true serenity every morning when I walk 25 min from my hotel to the school. My most memorable moments...The surroundings: I hire a car to travel around Cadiz as well. And lucky to find beautiful clear beaches either with rocks or the flat ones with smooth sands...in Roche, Los Atunes, Los Canos de Meca...it's one of the beach paradise region - even on the side of the highways you can find easily good spot to dip in or just lay quitely on the beach sides.
