Cahterine Knock
Royaume-Uni
I honestly didn’t expect our two months at SIC to be one of the most rewarding and fun experiences in years. As well as returning back to the UK after a couple of months being able to speak the lingo, I did also need to go on a rather drastic diet to shift the tapas-induced excess pounds, a de-tox to allow my liver to battle back to a normal condition and a touch of counselling to come to terms with how much I was missing the staff and students that we met at SIC. The tan someway made up for the trauma.
Top Tip: invest equal amounts of your time in beach ‘study’, Spanish study and tapas-bar study and you can’t fail…
I would defy anybody not to have the most brilliant time at SIC. It is hard work, but that’s what you’re there for. The classes are fun (unless studying the conditional tense where not even super-guapo Luis could charm us into believing it was ‘fun’), very well-structured and led with the utmost of professionalism.
And yes, for those that choose to, you can play hard too, it’s a sociable school but as far as joining in is concerned, it’s entirely your choice, no pressure…but it would be criminal not to experience a Cadiz all-nighter at least once during your stay.
If you decide to go, I’m pretty sure you won’t want to leave and that you’ll definitely go back
